Down South and Back
Where did I go on March Break?
Ever heard of the Creation Museum? Here is one museum that does not assume the theory of evolution but the teaching that God made the whole universe of animals, plants, and nonliving things.
Can you see Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden?
Ever heard of Methuselah, who lived to the age of 969? What's he saying?
One of the main lessons centred on Noah's Flood.
The multimedia show and dioramas were outstanding. Can you locate the Creation Museum?
O yeah, we also stopped by the National Museum of the US Air Force. Can you identify the plane and the location of the museum?

A Widow's Forgiveness
Last Sunday her husband was shot dead in church, and now ... watch this:
Pastor's Wife Forgives Accused Gunman
Tells Julie Chen On "The Early Show" She Doesn't Even Hold Any "Hard Feelings" Against Alleged Murderer
MARYVILLE, Ill., March 16, 2009
Cindy Winters on The Early Show Monday (CBS)
(CBS) Last Sunday, a gunman walked into the First Baptist Church in Maryville, Ill., near St. Louis, and opened fire, killing pastor Fred Winters. Two congregants were injured as they wrestled him to the ground.
The alleged gunman, Terry Sedlacek, has pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
Now, the pastor's wife says she's praying for Sedlacek.
In an exclusive interview with Early Show co-anchor Julie Chen from inside the church Monday, Cindy Winters said she doesn't even hold any "hard feelings" against Sedlacek.
"I do not have any hatred, or even hard feelings towards him," she told Chen. "We have been praying for him. One of the first things that my daughter said to me after this happened was, 'You know, I hope that he comes to learn to love Jesus through all of this.' We are not angry at all, and we really firmly believe that he can find hope and forgiveness and peace through this, by coming to know Jesus. And we hope that that happens for him."
Asked what she hopes the criminal justice system does with Sedlacek, Winters replied, "I don't have any speculation or any idea about that. But I do hope that he finds peace with God. I hope that he comes to understand that God loves him in spite of his sins and that he can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ."

Techie Advice Needed
OK, guys, I have a harddisk that I've saved my from broken PC, as well as a lousy wrist that hurts when I use a regular mouse. But I just got this ad for a couple of promising-looking gizmos that seem to address my needs:
This next one is a "3D Optical Finger Mouse" from the same Hong Kong seller. Looks pretty cool, eh? Well, it doesn't look too costly, and it might just be the thing I need for my poor wrist.
Say, would you be so kind to leave me your advice in the Comments section? Many thanks!
The above is a "SATA HDD DOCKING & 3 PORT USB 2.0 HUB" from a Hong Kong company. Has anyone tried it out yet? Does it work, and if so, is it worth the money? It seems the ultimate thing for hardware-challenged folk like me.

Long Line-up at First Job Fair of the Year, "Opening Doors to Your Future"
Sure, it may not have seen 120,000 visitors like the one below, but it attracted not a few stares and "what's going on" queries from the normally quiet North York Centre today.
120,000 swarm the Singapore job fair
The first job fair for us in 2009
Lines snaked from the North York Central Public Library entrance, through the shopping mall, past Novotel, and all the way almost to Yonge Street. There we were, eight of us, blended into the thousands of jobseekers waiting to see potential employers offering a precious handful of jobs--two for Sheridan Gardens, twenty for the public libraries, sixteen for York Regional Police, four for some collection agency, five for TD Bank (which featured the longest line of applicants), etc. There was a 15-minute seminar by Toronto Employment & Social Services to help jobseekers navigate a job fair.
When some of us left, the queue hadn't gotten any shorter; it was just shaped differently.
At least Tom brought his camera phone. Here's shamelessly asking dear Tom to share his pictures with the rest of us.
